Before you switch
This is self-hosted Community, not a free SigNoz Cloud subscription. You pay for or supply compute, disks, backups, bandwidth and administration; minimum 4 GB Docker memory, with more needed as ingestion grows. Default retention is 7 days for logs/traces and 30 days for metrics and can be configured within your storage capacity. Enterprise features have separate terms. No paid LLM API is required. Instrumentation and migration take work; no promise of all Datadog integrations or feature parity.
