Local text/image-to-short-video generation instead of hosted generation credits, when compatible hardware is already available. Not the same effects, proprietary models or convenience.
Before you switch
WanGP Community License 2.0 permits free personal, internal business and agency/client production. Credit WanGP for direct sales/licensing of outputs; paid hosted/API, white-label or software resale requires a separate licence. Not unrestricted open source. Wan 2.1 base models are separately Apache-2.0; other models and assets have separate terms. Own compatible GPU, RAM, storage, model downloads and electricity required; selected models support 6 GB VRAM, others need more. No paid API is needed for the local Wan 2.1 route. Rented GPUs and optional cloud services cost extra. Create local text/image-to-video assets with Wan 2.1 instead of spending Fastlane hosted generation credits. Partial asset-generation workflow: compose the ad, add branding/audio/captions and publish manually. Not Fastlane avatars, lip-sync, brand/competitor research, scheduling, attribution or a claim of profitable ads.
