Organise tasks, projects and reminders in a native Linux app.

What you can use it for

Organise tasks, projects and reminders in a native Linux app.

  • Local projects, sections, tasks and reminders without a paid task allowance.
  • Optional Todoist, Nextcloud and CalDAV connections.
Workflow coverage and comparison notes

Local individual task capture, projects and reminders on Linux. Not a free upgrade to Todoist cloud limits or a Things-compatible Mac/iOS client. For Any.do and TickTick: organise personal projects, priorities, reminders and recurring tasks in the free GPL Linux desktop app. Use local storage for the independent free route; optional Todoist sync retains the connected account limits and CalDAV/Nextcloud can require paid hosting. Any.do and TickTick already offer free basic task management; TickTick also includes recurrence free. No native iOS/Android app, WhatsApp/location reminders, complete calendar/habit suite, shared team workflow or automatic migration is claimed.

Before you switch

Linux desktop only. Use local storage for the independent free route: connecting a Todoist account does not remove Todoist plan limits. Remote sync depends on a compatible provider and may require hosting. No Things Mac/iOS experience or promise of full Todoist collaboration and natural-language parity.

Alternatives to these paid apps

Each comparison covers the workflow described above, rather than every paid feature.
