Before you switch

The five-identity allowance includes people and machines, not five people plus unlimited apps. Free includes three environments per project and ten native secret syncs. Advanced access controls, automatic rotation, SAML, audit retention and point-in-time recovery require paid plans; Pro starts at $20/identity/month billed annually or $23 monthly. Hosted use needs no server or paid model API. Self-hosting is a separate route with your own compute, backups and operations; paid enterprise features are not made free by self-hosting. Doppler itself has a free three-user plan: switch only if Infisical’s project or sync limits fit better, not for assumed full paid-plan parity.
