Workflow coverage and comparison notes
Replace a Canva Pro subscription for creating your own layered social graphics, presentations and animation exports. Canva already has a free tier; this is an independent free editor, not access to Canva premium templates/assets or complete Pro feature parity.
Before you switch
Young project with ten starter templates; not Canva’s stock-content library, brand governance or publishing platform. Default self-host configuration allows 2 GiB storage per user, 5,000 designs, 100 pages per design and 25 MiB per uploaded asset; operators may change these. Hosted service returned HTTP 403 to our automated fetch, so browser availability and its actual quotas remain unconfirmed; a documented self-host route exists. Attribution licence requires notices for redistribution. Multi-object duplication and some animation controls have reported bugs. No guaranteed Canva document import or paid asset rights.
